The City of Calabasas Community Service Department offers a variety
of recreational, educational and special interest programs and classes
for all ages. Summer camp and after school programs are also available.
A published quarterly catalog lists all programs and special events.

Agoura
Hills/ Calabasas Community Center
A community recreation facility in joint partnership with the
City of Agoura Hills has a fitness center, rock climbing wall,
gymnasium and a variety of instructional, recreational, social
and cultural programs.

Calabasas Tennis & Swim Center
A community fitness facility offering swimming, tennis, exercise
programs and classes. Private rooms and catering services are
available to host special events, parties and meetings.

Headwaters Corner Interpretive Center
The office of Mountains Restoration Trust, a non-profit land
trust, is part of the interpretive center that includes a regional
and interpretive trail, a house dating back to homesteading
times and a year round stream. The Center offers weekend educational
programs, special events and restoration activities. Across
from the Center on Mulholland Highway is Wild Walnut Park with
hiking trails and picnic benches.

Malibu Creek State Park
One of the most scenic parks in the California State Park system,
Malibu Creek State Park was the filming site of the M*A*S*H
television series and Planet of Apes movie. MCSP has 4,000 acres
with a waterfall and 15-mile stream, and offers hiking, fishing,
horse trails, mountain bike trails and a campground. Ranger
programs are year round. The visitor center is open on weekends.

Santa Monica Mountains Recreation
Visitor Center
The visitor center provides information on all outdoor recreation
offered in the Santa Monica Mountains' national and state parks
and conservancy parklands. Maps, books and gift items are available
for purchase. Local recreation includes horseback riding, back
packing, hiking, mountain biking, camping, and outdoor nature
programs.
