• Assistant

    This hybrid, hourly multifaceted role reports to the President & CEO and provides administrative, event, marketing, and membership support to Chamber staff and members. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

     

    Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

    • Provide administrative support to the President & CEO, including assistance with communications, committee

    coordination, financial tasks, membership outreach, and foundation matters both remotely and at on-site

    events.

    • Support the Director of Events & Member Services, Chamber staff, and members both remotely and at onsite

    events.

    • Coordinate the planning, set up, and execution of Chamber meetings, programs, and special events.

    • Design and prepare marketing materials including flyers, graphics, and press releases with accuracy,

    creativity, and attention to detail.

    • Maintain and update the Chamber’s social media platforms and website content.

    • Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational objectives.
     

    Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

    • Detailed oriented, reliable, punctual, and professional.

    • Strong technical aptitude, including experience with audio equipment, computers, and smart televisions.

    • Proficiency in Canva, Constant Contact, Outlook, Zoom, and in social media management.

    • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends for events.

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable with public speaking.

    • Previous experience working with a chamber of commerce or non-profit organization.

    • College degree in business, management, or marketing.

    • Lives locally in the Calabasas area.
     

    Compensation & Schedule:

    • $17-$18 per hour

    • 15 hours per week on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, with additional hours for special events.
