Matthew A. Breddan, Esq. obtained his Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of La Verne College of Law and began practicing in 1994. He later opened his practice in the San Fernando Valley, focusing predominately on all aspects of family law. In December 2013, Mr. Breddan joined The Reape-Rickett Law Firm as a trusted shareholder and became head of the Calabasas office. Mr. Breddan is a tireless advocate for his client's rights and best interests. His goal is to achieve the best possible results for his clients and throughout the process, assuring that children are not used as "pawns" or bargaining chips to accomplish a goal or agenda of either party. From divorce to paternity, establishing parental rights, child custody and visitation, child support, domestic violence restraining orders, and beyond, Mr. Breddan is committed to providing the highest level of family law representation.

James P. Reape, Managing Shareholder, received his Juris Doctorate from Pepperdine University in 1982. After practicing law in Encino for several years, he founded James P. Reape, A Professional Corporation, in 1992 and moved his practice to Valencia, California. In 1998 he co-founded The Reape-Rickett Law Firm, focusing exclusively on family law matters. Mr. Reape is an expert in highly compensated individuals, business owners, complex compensation schemes, and complex or multiple asset matters. He is highly adept at resolving high-net-worth divorces and has extensive trial and settlement experience. Throughout his career, Mr. Reape has represented a diverse range of professionals including, business owners, professional athletes, doctors, lawyers, dentists, corporate executives, and celebrities.
