The Calabasas Chamber of Commerce holds an annual Mayoral Luncheon to honor and celebrate the City of Calabasas mayor for their services and leadership. Mayor Peter Kraut moderated a lively and timely discussion on doing business in our community with a panel of special guests from diverse industries.

Calabasas, CA — The Calabasas Chamber of Commerce held the sold-out Mayoral Luncheon with City of Calabasas Mayor Peter Kraut on Thursday, August 28th, 2025, at the Calabasas Country Club.
This special luncheon was set on the scenic outdoor space of the country club and welcomed guests with warm weather and an Asian buffet. Guests waited in anticipation of what the noon discussions would bring.

Following the acknowledgements, Calabasas Chamber’s First Vice Chair and Ambassador Chair Dr. Iris Stone introduced Reuven Cypers of GOAT Payments, Robbie Gluckson of UCLA Health, and Senator Allen to give remarks.
After his introduction from Senator Allen, Mayor Kraut entered the stage thanking all for coming, gave insight to what the city of Calabasas is currently up to, and introduced the topic of the panelist discussion: doing business in our community. Special guests included Gelson’s Markets’ Vice President of Human Resources Karla Ash, Cadillac of Calabasas’ General Manager Rick Bilgrien, Caruso’s Director of Operations Jake Demirchyan, UCLA West Valley Medical Center’s Chief Operating Officer Dave Morgan, and Florentyna’s A Fine Flower Company Owner and Founder Shirin Paidar!
Attendees listened in and engaged with the panelists during the Q&A section of the program regarding any topics covered or questions to add to the dialogue. Mayor Kraut thanked the panelists and gave each a special gift arrangement for their participation.
Dr. Stone and Clayden presented Mayor Kraut with a plaque honoring his continued dedication, services, and leadership to the Calabasas community.
Before closing the event, the Calabasas Chamber team held four raffles with prizes being a stadium chair, item courtesy of UCLA; two sets of a bottle of wine and ticket to the Calabasas Chamber’s upcoming Networking Breakfast & Training on Thursday, September 25th; and a bottle of wine and exclusive Calabasas license plate cover.
Concluding the event, many guests stayed to network and reconnect with one another, even up to an hour past the event's end.
